Inner molds allows for a perfect lamination of carbon fiber layers during the curing process. The result is the elimination of possible voids between layers, ensuring optimum integrity of the structure and lower weight due to the lack of structural foam inserts that are usually used.
Carbon frame is as strong as the resin that holds it together. For this reason, carbon nanotubes have been added to the carbon-resin matrix, creating microbond between layers.
