RIDER TUNE CARBON COMPOSITE 2
We developed the RTCC 2 carbon blend specially to meet the demands of day in day out racing. Expert racers are able to push a bike to its limit no enthusiast could dream of, so in order to transfer more power to the ground and for precise handling, a frame needs to be stiff at the right places but also needs to be strong enough to withstand the abuse.

Bending and torsional force along with ply orientation are all modulus IM carbon fiber offers a great balance of stiffness and strength and is used in high torsion areas, while even stiffer high modulus HM fiber is used in a different way by packing more or using less fiber in a given area, to either increase stiffness or reduce weight, depending on the riding characteristics we are trying to achieve.

FUEL MANAGEMENT
With enough space and tube shape optimized to fit 2 regular water bottles inside the front triangle and mounting points to integrate a bento box to store your favorite carbs for refuelling, TR1 was designed with Triathlete and long distance in mind.

LEADING EDGE AERO PROFILE BRAKE
Not satisfied by the current crop of integrated brakes, we’ve designed our own. A leverage ratio that closely ressembles normal road calipers for increased power and a leading edge profile that closely matches our fork for improved aerodynamic efficiency
LEAP AERO PROFILE
While seeking to create the fastest bike in real world racing conditions, we’ve studied different types of profile and evaluated them in terms of speed, stiffness and weight. Every zone on the frame then gets its specific profile that varies from modified NACA to truncated airfoil.

Although we don’t pretend that truncated airfoils are the fastest in all conditions, they have proven particularly effective at high yaw angles or when trying to improve stiffness in key areas. Our leap profile also maximizes aero efficiency while using regular round bottles that are mostly found in feed zones.
CFD (COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS) OPTIMIZED
Before we start cutting any tooling, design iterations are run though computer simulations that recreate the effect of the airflow over our bike, its rider and all onboard accessories, like water bottles and fule management system. CFD enable us to visualize problem areas or make the best possible choice of profile and surface for a given area to minimize its drag. Frameset is then prototyped and wind tunnel tested for validation. By doing so, our goal was to create a bike that will not only be fast in test, but that will actually be fast in real world conditions.
TOTAL INTEGRATION
With mechanical and Di2 electronic compatibility, brake and shifter cables are wired internally in the frame and fork, minimizing aerodynamic drag that could disturb the laminar flow around the bike's frontal area.
UCI COMPLIANCE
Since sanctioned races are always a good proving ground to test your skill against the clock, we've developed our frame to be at the limit of what's accepted by the UCI. While our frame was fast enough not to warrant a non-legal version, the fork was another story and we've designed 2 separate versions. A lighter UCI legal fork that respects the 3 to 1 ratio and a deep profile non-legal version that helps reduce drag further over a large range of yaw.
AERO BALANCE STEERING
Most modern Tri bikes use a forward offset fork to improve aerodynamics but by doing so, they also move the pressure center of the front wheel more forward. This results in added steering torque that will negatively affect the bike stability in high crosswinds. Our ABS steering solves this issue by moving the pressure center closer to the bike steering axis for a 24% increase in stability compared to a forward offset fork design, allowing you to run deeper wheel that you normally would.

Since the rider accounts for about 75% of total aerodynamic drag, optimal positioning is key, so we've designed all our triathlon bikes to be highly adjustable. Stack and reach optimized geometry allows us to fit a wide range of athletes. The seat post can be adjusted along an X and Y axis with over 120 mm of fore/aft adjustment and the use of a standard bar and stem combo allows every rider the flexibility of choosing his own setup.
