By integrating bearings and using a wider 86.5mm BB shell, we are able to use that extra space to weld chain stays further apart to increase mud clearance and improve power transfer.
An oversized 1-1/2” crown increases lateral strength of the frame and fork, providing ample stiffness for a greater steering precision. Wider blade spacing allows for greater mud clearance and a crown mounted cable stop reduces chatter caused by fork compression while braking compared to traditional head set mounted stops.
While retaining the same rigorous manufacturing process as our S-6 alloy, the Seven Thousand series double-butted aluminum alloy tubing is chosen for its superior mechanical strength and low weight. Each frame is precisely assembled using double pass smooth weld technique for increased strength and a cleaner look.
