2 in 2 for Hugo Houle and Joakim Albert of Garneau-Crocs Ogilvy-Renault May 06, 2008
St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, May 5, 2008 – Following their last week’s victories, Junior Hugo Houle and Minime Joakim Albert of the Garneau-Crocs Ogilvy-Renault Cycling Team, once again attained the first step of the podium Sunday, at the Grand Prix de Brossard.
After several observation laps in the pack, Joakim Albert (Minime category) escaped in a breakaway on his own, to finish the criterium with nearly a one minute advance. As for the Juniors, they won three of the first four places, thanks to excellent team work. William Garneau opened the race with the first breakaway, followed of Ludovic Fleury who was alone during 4 laps. Hugo Houle and William Garneau counter-attacked thereafter, to respectively finish first and second, while Jérôme Boucher finished in 4th position.
Finally, a breakaway of 12 racers was formed during the Senior mid-race, including Tim Hucker, who arrived earlier in the week from Australia for his second season with the Garneau-Crocs Ogilvy-Renault team. Hucker finished the race in the 6th position.
