Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Wednesday February 12, 2014 – The Défi Garneau-Quebecor presented by Merrell is proud to introduce its Honorary President for the first 2014 edition:
Mrs. Sylvie Bernier, healthy lifestyle habits ambassador – Québec en Forme and Olympic diving champion.
“It is with great pleasure that I have agreed to be Honorary President for the 1st edition of the DEFI GARNEAU-QUEBECOR 10K, because I’ve always believed in the benefits of daily exercise and a healthy lifestyle to realize our full potential and, most of all, to live healthy.
By participating in this challenge to support the Little Brothers’ cause, you aim to surpass yourself both personally and physically, but you also become a role model for those who hesitate to take the leap towards a physically active lifestyle.
So sign up! Next August 10, we’re keeping a number for you, and let’s run together for the cause!” declared Mrs. Bernier.
