GARNEAU – QUEBECOR

Team Garneau-Quebecor has received its UCI Continental license and moves up to the pro team level. The Team continues its growth in 2014 and consolidates its position among the best UCI Continental development teams in North America. Its heightened race program, which includes several USA Cycling Association Criteriums, will regularly take them to our neighbors south of the border, while the high-caliber Quebec and Canadian races are still on the team’s ambitious program. We will see Garneau-Québecor at the prestigious Tour de Beauce, Tour of Alberta and the Redlands Classic in California.

Team Rwanda

Team Rwanda is a project bringing coaching and organization to this team of Rwandan athletes riding for themselves, their country, and awareness of the Rwandan situation.  Word is spreading about this new "Team Rwanda", the first ever national Rwandan cycling team. Support from donations and the enthusiasm of the riders will lead them to races around the globe.

Merrell Team powered by Garneau

Louis Garneau teams up with Merrell to support top-ranking age-group athletes in Kona.  As official apparel, helmet, cycling shoe, and bike sponsor, Louis Garneau will support the four member triathlon team known as Merrell Triathlon Team powered by Garneau.

The team consist of four athletes:

            Frédéric Boivin: 6th 2011 Ironman World Championships (Men 18-24), 1st Iroman 70.3 Timberman (Men 20-24)

            Jérôme Bresson: 1st Ironman 70.3 Mont Tremblant Quebec (Men 30-34)

            Tommy Dion: 1st Ironman Lake Placid (Men 18-24)

            Pierre-Yves Gigou: 4th 2011 Ironman World Championships (Men 18-24), 1st 2011 Henderson ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships (20-24)

The team will be equipped with Louis Garneau Vorttice Helmets, Tri-300 Shoes, Gennix T1 Bikes, and Custom Apparel as well as Merrell Mix Master Running Shoes.

The Garneau Factory Elite Women's Team

The GARNEAU Factory Team is in its fourth year as a US Domestic Elite women's team based in Georgia. Owned and operated by a non-profit whose mission is to educate about and promote womens cycling at all levels, the team will focus on the USA Cycling (NCC) National Criterium Calendar and the North American UCI calendar. The 2014 roster brings international talent to our returning team including three current GA state champions in three different disciplines, a two time Mexican National U23 ITT champion, the 2013 Oceania Road Champion, a member of the 2013 Canadian National Road team, and a current US Masters National and World Track champion.

GARNEAU FLORIDA CYCLING CLUB

Garneau Florida is a registered USA Cycling Club located in South Florida for cyclists in the Deerfield, Boca Raton & Delray Beach areas created by Louis Garneau for the Quebec snowbirds and local Florida cycling friends. The club creates a fun, structured environment for South Florida cycling. The club updates its members when Louis Garneau is in town and keeps members current on events and upcoming club rides.
